Childrearing Responsibility
The
Childrearing Responsibility percentage is equal to each parents percentage of contribution to the parents combined income.
That is, if a parents makes 60% of the parents combined income then that parents Childrearing Responsibility percentage is 60%.
Each parent is credited with a portion of the
Base Support Amount.
In addition, the CP is credited for
Ordinary Medical Expenses.
Both parents are also credited with any
Child Related Medical Insurance Premiums and
Childcare Expenditures that they pay.
Each parent will contribute a portion of the expenses that the other parent is credited with paying based on their Childrearing Responsibility percentage.
The NCP's contribution toward the expenses that the CP is credited with paying less the CP's contribution toward the expenses that the NCP is credited with paying equals the Payment Amount.

Adjustments are made to the parents Net Income when there are children outside of the support case being calculated.
